Short introduction
This course is an introduction to speech communication which emphasizes on the psychological aspects of public speaking. It allows you to understand and explain the psychology behind the communication process, including techniques to lessen anxiety by rewiring the mind for confidence. The course will teach you how to bring body, breath and voice in line to bring across the content authentically.
During the course you will further find out how to design presentations that will support you in delivering friction-free speeches. You will learn to listen effectively regardless of your interest in the subject matter. Lastly, through practical exercises we will concentrate on body language as well as on the process of controlling pre-speech stress and boost your confidence.

Speaking in front of crowds.
Understanding stress and its trigger points
Presentations
Techniques to reduce stress
Preliminary program of week
Monday - Participants arrival, Networking activities and introduction into the course, Cultural activities in the city.
Tuesday - Understanding public speech anxiety. First practices, "how to rewire the Mind for Confidence".
Wednesday - Public Speech and bodily reactions - Bringing Body, Breath and Voice in line.
Thursday - Practicing in varying surroundings.
Friday - Course wrap-up and final evaluation, Validation of learning outcomes and certification ceremony, Participants departure.
