ADVANCED PUBLIC SPEECH: To Talk or Not to Talk – That Is the Question
Public Communication Updates for Advanced Speakers
Short introduction
This advanced, practice-based course is designed for people who already use public speaking as a professional tool and want to update, refine, and deepen their communication skills.
The course focuses on how acting and theatre techniques can be applied to public speaking in order to communicate complex ideas clearly, engage audiences more effectively, and develop a stronger, more conscious stage presence. Rather than learning the basics, participants will work on improving what already works, receiving professional feedback, practical tools, and fresh perspectives on their speaking style.
This course is intended for participants who already have experience in public communication and are looking for an advanced, second-level course.
Many professionals speak well and receive positive feedback, yet still feel that something is missing. This course addresses that moment — when communication works, but could become clearer, more dynamic, and more conscious. Participants will receive professional feedback on their speaking style, work with video recordings to observe and improve performance, learn how to simplify complex topics, use body language consciously, and work with props and visual elements to strengthen their message. Learning also happens through observing others, giving feedback, and recognizing how many layers exist in public communication.
