FINDING YOUR VOICE: FROM SHAKING TO MAKING

Develop confidence, stage relaxation, creativity and authentic communication.

Short introduction

Aren’t you actors, and yet you are constantly expected to perform? Are you supposed to be confident, precise, and eloquent, even though no one has ever taught you how?

In today’s academic and professional environments, people are required to present ideas, lead meetings, teach, or represent their institution in international settings, often without any training in communication or public presence.

Stage presence and public speaking can feel challenging, and the most effective way to develop these skills is through practice and experience. But what if you feel too shy, nervous, or overwhelmed to speak up? How can you gain confidence when just the thought of standing in front of a group makes you tense?

Fortunately, there are ways to make this process easier. This interactive workshop introduces participants to techniques from the world of performance, helping them develop confidence, stage relaxation, creativity, readiness, and authentic communication.

The workshop is practical, highly interactive, engaging and participants actively experiment, create, and learn by doing while experiencing the joy of creative expression. No previous theatre experience is required.
